Seven Day Tour.

Day 1. 

Dublin to Belfast.

We depart Dublin heading to Belfast in Northern Ireland, on the way we take the N2, and make our way to Newgrange a passage tomb from 3200 BC. This tomb allows the winter sun to light up the inner passage and tomb itself for twenty minutes. After our visit we carry on to Belfast were we visit the Titanic Centre for the rest of the day we are doing this as many people on tour have told me up to 4 Hours is needed to enjoy the centre, we will not forgo the other delights of Belfast, after our visit we will take a black cab tour of the city (4 people per taxi.) the taxi will drop you at your hotel were your driver will have given your bags to the porters for placement in you room. Dinner at your leisure, end of day one. Overnight in Belfast.

Day 2 – Irish Tour.

Belfast to Letterkenny.

Traveling North we make our way to Carrick -a- Read Rope bridge after our visit  a short hop and it’s the Giants Causeway, after this we move to Derry (Londonderry), the walled City our tour Guide will tell of this city History, and its place today.

After the tour we move on to Letterkenny and our hotel for the night dinner in Hotel.

Day 3 – Irish Tour.

Letterkenny to Sligo.

The first trip to a cliff this one is of Slieve League, the highest cliffs in Ireland, three times higher than the cliffs of Moher, we return to Donegal town for lunch and some badly needed shopping, in the afternoon we travel to Sligo and on the way stopping off at W.B.Yeats grave in Drumcliffe church grounds. Having checked in to our hotel you are free to enjoy Sligo Town its bars and restaurants to your taste.

Day 4 – Irish Tour.

Sligo to Westport.

The next two nights are for the people who like to have a PINT of GUINNESS or IRISH COFFEE, while listening to traditional Irish music, on the way we call in to pay our respects to Knock Shrine, Taking in a look at the beautiful basilica on the spot were our Blessed lady, St. Joseph, St. John the Evangelist, and Jesus Christ, and Angels, appeared  In 1879. Onward to Westport once in our hotel we have dinner and your free to explore the town and its pubs.

Day 5 – Irish Tour.

Westport to Galway.

On leaving our hotel we travel west to Ireland Holy Mountain Croagh Patrick,

We will not climb it on this day, but if you ever wand to come back we will look after you. For today is about the famine in Ireland from 1845 to1849. And we will walk part of the famine walk from Westport to Delphi in Doo lough valley. As we travel through Connemara, we shall visit Kylemore Abbey, working our way South into Galway passing through towns and villages till we arrive on Galway City. Tonight we Paint the Town Red, plenty of restaurants, bars which serve a good standard of food and wine and beer, also there will be music, some people have dinner in the hotel so as they are free to walk from Pub to Pub enjoying the craic,

Day 6 – Irish Tour.

Galway to Limerick.

As we are on the wild Atlantic Way, the Burren is next on our way to the cliffs of Moher, lunch in Doolin, after lunch we travel into Limerick, a city coach tour is on the cards here, St, John Castle, the Treaty Stone, The old Market place

Gala Dinner in Hotel that evening.

Day 7 – Irish Tours

Limerick to Dublin.

Our last day and two great attractions on the cards today 1st, the Rock of Cashel, in Ireland this is the one that is held as one of the most Historic sites home to the Kings of Munster, and is only rivalled by the Hill of Tara, Brian Boru was made High king of Ireland he then made it the capital of Ireland plenty to see and do on grounds, after our visit we move onto Kilkenny City.

The Marble City, plus a fine Anglo-Norman castle which was in the same family for 600 years. Some time for last of the shopping, just before we make our way back to Dublin.

This brings an end to our 7 Day Irish Tour.
