Five Day Tour.

Day 1.

Dublin to Cork.

A full day of turning sees us working our way down the midlands of Ireland. Plenty to do and see on this day.

Stops on the way.

  1. Irish National Stud and Japanese Gardens.
  2. Rock of Cashel
  3. Cobh (Titanic Experience).
  4. Overnight in Cobh.

Day 2.

Cobh to Killarney / Tralee.

Start the day with a short drive to Cork City and a coach tour, stopping at THE English Market.

After this we travel to Gougane Barra Nature Reserve, also the remains of the Hermitage of St. Finbarr’s Patron saint of cork,

Our next stop is Castletownbear after a stop we take on the Healy pass a fantastic trip a very scenic part of Ireland , on into Kenmare in the County of Kerry, stopping for a short time as we travel on to Killarney, for dinner in our hotel and out for a show of traditional  music and dance. Overnight in Killarney.

Day 3.

Killarney – Ring of Dingle – Killarney.

Our touring to-day brings us around the picturesque ring of Dingle and Slea Head and lunch in the fishing village of dingle, most of today is spent on coach taking in the sights of Kerry has to offer. And after all this travel a night off and a well-deserved rest again in Killarney.

Day 4.

Killarney to Galway. 

We will drive to the village of Adare for our first stop, for a break & walk around  looking at the thatched cottages, from here it is on too the Cliffs of Moher, for our second visit of the day, the spectacular Cliffs rising to 800 feet above sea level, Today we will have lunch in Doolin the home of Irish traditional Music for many years now, Fitzpatrick’s Hotel have a  good food and they are good on service so we will not loose time here, as we have more to see and do, after lunch we travel the Burren we have a photo stop of two on the way to Galway City. This the City to party in so join me on a busman’s Holiday, as we visit pubs, clubs, and restaurants, we overnight in Galway (just as well), to make up for the late night we have a late check out we leave at 10 AM.

Day 5.

Galway to Dublin.

To make up for our sins from last night we will go to a cathedral in Galway and in Athlone we will visit Clonmacnoise. From the Dark Ages Clonmacnoise was famed for the artistic activity and enjoyed the patronage of successive Kings. This dynamic religious centre also helped to earn Ireland the name off land of saints and scholars

Clonmacnoise like everywhere in Ireland fell to the Danes and the Anglo-Normans from 830 – 1165. However, an effort was made to restore the Cathedral around 1647 but undone by Cromwell’s Army as he swept across Ireland.
